I spend a ton of time working on my various online projects (including the four sites featured on this domain). Yet I probably spend more time reading what other people write.

An isolated writer is a stale, boring, and unproductive one. Other authors provide discussions to digest, problems to solve, things to learn. They are essential.

Most (all?) of the feeds in my Google Reader are related to one of the other three topics that I write about - education, web dev/publishing, and gaming.
