Tauren Paladin? Woah.

So I logged into my Paladin today. A Tauren Paladin. Pretty cool, huh?
Well, he’s not actually a Tauren Paladin. Sythrick is a Human Paladin. By an odd coincidence, he was temporarily turned into a Tauren… and for the next 60 minutes he will look way cooler than normal.
Engineering Perks – Transportation
My Paladin is an engineer. The main reason I rolled engineering was for the goggles – they’re just plain awesome. He’s got all three of the basic ones, but I haven’t got around to upgrading to the Uber Goggles since I came back to the game. Maybe now that my Hunter is 70 I’ll work on that…
However, there are a couple other cool and useful reasons to roll engineering. One is transportation. With the help of my trusty Dimensional Ripper – Area 52, I can be in Area 52 in a matter of minutes.
I also get to enjoy some random occurrences when the transporter malfunctions. This time, it “looks like your pattern matrix got mixed up with the last person to use the transport pad” – a Tauren. I’ve also been turned into my evil twin – causing me to appear all red, dark, and evil looking.
The malfunctions are just quirky things that make people love engineering – but the Dimensional Ripper – Area 52 itself is really a lifesaver.
When we were running Heroic Mech all the time for badges, it was easy for me to port directly to Netherstorm. I could also use this as an extra port back to Outland, if I went back to the Old World and my hearthstone was down.
I was spoiled growing up as a Mage… so I need all the teleporting I can get.
By the by, if you really don’t like the malfunctions, you can clear them with a Pally bubble. I’ve also heard that a Druid’s shapeshifting will cancel the effect.
But why ruin a cool effect? Who ever saw a Tauren Paladin?

Yeah. I was wondering why there were all of a sudden so many searches for Tauren Paladin, lol…
