Free Follow Backlink, In Exchange for a Picture
Written by Brian on December 12, 2008 – 11:33 pm -If you’re trying to build and promote a website, you know how important backlinks are. They help your Google Pagerank, and ultimately help determine how valuable the advertising space on your site is.
Google logic suggests that links from high pagerank sites are better than low pagerank sites, but anything is better than nothing. Especially for a new site, it’s gratifying to find someplace besides a giant link farm to post a link back to your site.
Well here’s an opportunity to get a free backlink for nothing more than a picture: Where We Do What We Do.
Where We Do What We Do?
I stumbled on this site while looking through a CSS gallery. I was looking for some inspiration for my recent theme redesign.
The site didn’t inspire me very much, but I thought the concept was cool. It’s a collection of pictures of people’s offices – where they do what they do.
Users can submit a picture of their office, along with a brief description, and it will immediately be uploaded and added to the gallery. You can also browse around and comment on other people’s spaces, if you like.
The benefit to you? You can include your website, and the page created for you will contain a link back to your site. No nofollow tag – just a regular, honest to goodness backlink.
So go snap a picture of your office and submit it. You shouldn’t be passing up free backlinks.
Oh, and while you’re at it, take a look at my extremely cluttered and messy office. I think I should clean up a bit…
