How to Complete the Main Quest Line, Chapter 6: Tranquility Lane

Written by Brian on January 2, 2009 – 2:25 pm -

Chapter 6 Begins. You've entered Tranquility Lane. Now, you need to find a way out.As you complete Chapter 5, Scientific Pursuits, you’ll head to Vault 112. In search of your father, you end up entering a bizarre virtual world – one that you can’t escape without playing some cruel games.

Chapter 6 offers a nice divergence between Good and Evil gameplay, although the end result is the same. Somewhat disappointing in that respect. It also offered some bizarre problems that I couldn’t readily solve the first time through without consulting some walkthroughs.

Don’t feel bad if you’re looking for help – this is one of the stranger bits of the quest line, and from what I can tell there are few clues in the game to help you come to some of the expected conclusions.

What follows is a detailed walkthrough, split up in several smaller sections, on how to complete this main quest line. This way you can get help with a specific step in the question chain without spoiling the entire story.

Part 1: Entering Vault 112

  1. How to Enter Vault 112 and Tranquility Lane.

Part 2: The Good Karma Option

  1. How to Use the Failsafe Terminal to Escape Tranquility Lane Forever.

Part 2: The Bad Karma Option

  1. How to Make Timmy Neusbaum Cry.
  2. How to Make Mr. and Mrs. Rockwell Get Divorced.
  3. How to Creatively Kill Mabel Henderson.
  4. How to Kill the Residents and Leave Tranquility Lane.
